About the job

We are looking for freelance designers with a high degree of flexibility, curiosity and ambition. You will be involved in exciting interior design projects based on your experience – from designing single elements for larger projects to running your own projects.

 

As a freelance member of the KAKI team, you will work closely together with the Design Lead and founder of KAKI and you can also look forward to the following responsibilities:

 

Meeting with our clients

• Creating moodboards and collages 

• 3D illustrations of interior designs in SketchUp

• Design presentations

• Technical drawings for business partners and suppliers

• Meetings with manufacturers 

• Ongoing quality controle 

• Project management, keeping an eye on budgets and time schedules

 

Projects typically vary from 14 days to a month. For the right match of Designer and project there is an expected opportunity to long lasting and larger projects from 6-9 months.

 

About you

You bring a natural passion for creating seductive experiences within spaces and you empathize with the longings of the guests and visitors. You have experience with handling complete design projects from a-z. You have at least 2 years of experience, working with design processes, from ideas and drawings to execution.

• Experience within hospitality, retail and museums

• A high degree of intuition and empathy 

• A creative spirit, and a pragmatic and structured approach in busy projects, where unexpected things are to be expected
